This former dental office has been transformed into an apartment for a couple with a child. Limited by structural constraints of the building, the architectural transformation focused on the distribution of rooms in order to accommodate new users.Â
Type
Apartement renovation
Location
Paris 19ème, France
Surface

The entrance area has been completely redefined: formerly overlooking a corridor distributing all the rooms of the apartment, it now includes - through a similar floor treatment an office separated by a glass roof letting in the light of a double exposure; and a kitchen partially open to the living room.
The kitchen was completely made to measure. Base units and tall units are veneered with sandblasted, sanded, burnished and varnished steel sheets. The fronts of the wall units are in vertical estriado glazing.
The worktop and the credenza are in marble. The central island is a separate element in the room, hence its velvety Jaipur red finish and its almost levitating wooden top.
