The coffee shop nestled in the heart of the commercial street of Grenelle was a former grocery store. Transformed into a coffee shop for Noir Coffee, our clients asked us to create a friendly and functional space for quick consumption and a unique experience.
Type
Coffee shop refurbishement
Location
Paris 7ème, France
Surface
33m²
The space was divided in two: on one side, placing a maximum of comfortable individual seats, and on the other, the heart of the project with the activity of the barista.
The division of the room is marked by the choice of materials and colors: black represents activity, and cream white represents relaxation.
The shape of the seats offers privacy for each user. Every seat has its own lighting, table and stool. On the opposite, the barista has a global vision of his customers and the outside, and the mirror on the ceiling accentuates this desire for transparency in his work.

The ground floor was converted to a large living space with two seating areas, kitchen, and dining room with bay window that takes advantage of views to the greenery of the garden.
