This long, narrow commercial space opens onto Place de l’Église Notre-Dame-de-Lorette, offering an exceptional view along the perspective of Rue de Châteaudun. The rear part of the space has been raised on a platform to emphasize this visual axis.

Facing a highly frequented pedestrian square, it was essential for the storefront to open fully. With this openness, the public space extends into the interior, allowing customers to easily take their coffee to go toward the metro entrance located just opposite.

The elongated configuration of the space led to the design of a continuous bar in pink granite. The prow of the bar transforms and unfolds toward the back of the space, accommodating a planted tree and a high table aligned with the level of the platform.

In parallel, the polished concrete bench is shaped with rounded forms that soften and contrast with the rigidity of the bar. The backrests of the seating form and deform, creating planted irregularities.

This movement toward the back is reinforced by two linear pendant lights that follow the bar on one side and the seating on the other, inviting visitors to move deeper into the space.

Finally, a mirror on the rear wall reflects the activity of the square and the street.
