Everything had to be created within this small space on Rue de Chartres in Neuilly-sur-Seine. The clients, the “Noir Coffee”, wanted to transform this local into a place that is both functional and distinctive.

« The façade was designed to open entirely onto the sidewalk, shifting the boundary of the public space into the interior. The stone flooring also echoes that of the pavement outside.»

The division of the space into two parts made it possible to position, on one side, a corner bar facing both the customers and the street, and on the other, a bench providing a continuous line of comfortable seating.
The small room at the back was arranged as a more private area, with the café’s only table as its central element.
